They all were very eager to learn and did well. Further we moved to our next center Safdarjung, where Vijay wardhan Sir taught Tenses to kids and helped them to make sentences and Anirudh taught basics to kids.”

Kavita adds, “After lunch, we moved to our next center Sangam vihar where, due to hot weather less no of kids came today. Regular classes were conducted, Prashant taught maths to kids. We also told kids about Ambedkar Jayanti. We celebrated birthday of Mr B.R.Ambedkar, who is Father of Constitution and who fought for establishment civil rights of Untouchables within Indian framework.”

Shivam,Volunteer(Coordinator-Noida-Okhla-Faridabad) shares, “At Noida centre, we had a surprise test of addition, subtraction & multiplication. It was great to see students give their best and we further helped them to clear these concepts. We taught alphabets to a younger one when he’s still learning to identify the alphabets. We even visited one of our student’s home as their parents are not allowing him to go to school, we convinced them that this is the crucial time for him then only his fundamentals would get cleared. So they ensured us to get him admitted to school asap.”

He further adds,’At Okhla centre, We taught vowel ‘e’ to a boy who had earlier learnt vowel ‘a’ so we proceeded with another one. In class of the students of class 9th, we taught how to multiply same and different variables. We also taught division of variables. Mainly our goal was to made them understand what is algebra, what is ‘x’ , how it can be used to solve the word problems. At Faridabad centre, We decided to go according to their books. In class of students of class 4th, we did the chapter of large numbers in which they did expansion of numbers, their successors and predecessors and also difference in place values and face values. It is heartening to see level of elder students increasing everyday and we enjoyed teaching them. Class 7 students had school test so we prepared them accordingly. Manjeet and Aditya of class 10th were taught rational and irrational numbers, how to find value of root2, root3, also we taught Polynomials and their roots.”
