Slum kids were asked about their experience with volunteers and after listening their reviews we felt encouraged by positive n enthusiastic response from these kids as they were extremely happy and most of them told that they love to study with us. At nizamuddin, flyover kids tried to converse in English and express how they feel about our efforts. We carefully noted some suggestions from them. At last a small musical event was conducted .”

He further adds, “At sangam vihar, festive mood was created by volunteers and venues were fully decorated with balloons .Kids performed dance, songs, speeches and poems about their view on our NGO. Its our belief that every effort should be approriately rewarded. So kids who had participated were given refreshments as well as gifts to those who had win the competition.Cake was also cut to celebrate Birthday as well as New Year. Its just a beginning ..more achievements are about to come”

Mr Shivam, Volunteer (Coordinator-Noida-Faridabad Line) shares,”We started with noida center at sharp 10.00 am. As winter is going on, kids seemed to be very tired and sleepy. Hence, we started with warmup exercise so that their body gets engerzised and heat up as then only they will enjoy the session. Kids love to do warmup as they find it very interesting. As Lohri and Makarsakranti are coming so we asked them to prepare something on coming Sunday.
Last sunday we have distributed Body Warmers and this time also we carried some gifts for them. My sister “Sneh” gifted lower body warmers to every child to protect them from cold. Then we continued with our normal teaching sessions.”

Mr Shivam adds. “At Okhla, we conducted a drawing competition related to New Year and asked them to make greeting cards too. All the students performed very well and confidently displayed talent in art & creativity. After that we went to sangam vihar to celebrate our Bluepen’s 2nd birthday.
