Its my pleasure to introduce another young volunteer, Rituka Palwal, who believes that a person is defined not only by what he/she achieves in life, but also by how his/her achievements serve the society. Rituka says, “I belong to a well-to-do family and the life has been easy for me. My father fulfils all my needs, but at the same time shows me the plights of the people around. My father always tells that Earning to fulfil your basic needs isn’t tough. You are wothy being human if you do something for others”.
Rituka further narrates, “The day I got to know about the NGO, Blue Pen, I decided to join it. The very motive of the NGO, “No child should be left behind”, inspired me to work for the children living near flyovers and in slum areas. While teaching and spending some time with these children, I realised, they too have dreams and the talent to achieve them, if given proper guidance. Children are the potential resource of any country. Helping these unprivileged children may change the world, and will surely, change the world for them”
Rituka has done my schooling from B.M.V.B (A.S.M.A) GK-II and persuaing B.tech from MAIT, IP University. She is interested in computer programming and work hard to achieve my goals. Admist the busy schedule, a day spent with these children is like a boast to my life. It’s well said, “Sooner or later you realise that the real fulfillment comes only from helping others.”
She further tells,”It’s my message for everyone, try spending some time here, you’ll realise that you aren’t just helping these unprivileged children but yourself too. You get the peace of mind, seeing these smiling faces. Blue Pen is doing a noble job and I’m proud to be a part of it”
BLUE PEN has already announced ongoing “INTERNSHIP PROGRAM” for Students of all Levels during these summer vacations. We are getting lot of queries regarding internship. This Certificate will be important for International/Domestic Admissions/Jobs for youngsters, as it certifies their commitment towards Social Causes. Two month Internship helps in connecting younger generation with ‘Real India at grassroots level’
