Blue Pen celebrated Rakshabandhan with our slum children at Vasant Vihar, Okhla Phase-1, Tughlakabad, and Harkesh Nagar.
Blue Pen celebrated Rakshabandhan with our slum children at Vasant Vihar, Okhla Phase-1, Tughlakabad, and Harkesh Nagar. As part of the celebration, we organized a Rakhi-making activity, which was also joined by undergraduate students from IIT Delhi. We explained to the children the significance of Rakshabandhan and why it is celebrated. One by one, the children tied handmade Rakhis to Blue Pen’s volunteers and their friends. The celebration concluded with the distribution of samosas and sweets.
